I know it was discussed a couple weeks ago about the addition of "And LSU... And Tennessee too" in Dixieland Delight. Seemed like most people weren't fans of this new part.

I wasn't sure how I felt about it but I think it was great last night. Loudest Dixieland Delight I've ever heard (in person) was still Iron Bowl last year, but this year's definitely compete with it.

Checkout some vids on youtube. this one captured how the beauty.... and yes you must watch in HD for full effect. LINK

I can't think that this night didn't have a big influence on the large number of recruits present (I saw a lot of our other coaches, softball, volleyball, basketball etc showing high schoolers around so it must have been a big night department wide.)

I just watched the CBS replay and they cut to commercial right before the,"frick Auburn" part

I think CBS has done enough Bama games to know when to cut during Dixieland Delight.

Last night was just a freakin' fun game. Loud, all the shakers, whooping arse. It was awesome.

yea, last night was essentially the season finale for Tuscaloosa. the FCS team for senior night is always an anticlimactic finish the to season.

Yeah. One of the better atmospheres I can remember. It just seemed different than previous big games/showdowns. Not that those weren't good, last night just felt different.

Disclaimer: I was very drunk.

I heard people saying it some last year, but not the whole student section.

Did they say something during the verse? "Munching on clovers (?????)"

Another unfortuante loss and a lot of us have blocked it forever from their mind as the unholy abomination it was.

But the 2010 Iron Bowl was the most electric I've ever seen Byrant Denny is my many years as a Bama fan. Not a soul was quiet, even the olds stood for a good deal of the time.

Yeah....

I can't figure out what that is. It's only like 1/2 a section that does it. It sounds like "yaw yaw yaw"- I can't even begin to guess what they're saying

That's exactly how I felt. I noticed it before even going in- it was just something else. I think we were so nervous before the LSU game before and much less so for this one than any in recent memory.

Thats what I thought. Not a big fan of it, just cause it sounds like rabble rabble rabble.

Is it said again at "Home grown country girl, gonna give me a whirl,"? Because if we say munch munch munch there. Then Im fine with it.

Yeah, I think we were confident we were gonna win this game, but still up for it since it was a big game. Everyone was ready to whoop some arse.

100% agree. 1H was probably top 3 loudest I've heard. It was a great atmosphere no doubt, but still different somehow than last night. Hard to compare.

I've been to virtually every Bama home game since the early 90s. The loudest game ever was 2005 Florida.

2005 Florida has always been at the top of my list as well. Prothros first touchdown was insane and it never got quiet after that (minus the injury).

2009 Tennessee after the block was the loudest single moment I've heard anywhere.

2010 1H Auburn was pretty consistently loud.

Trying to think of some others.

Single loudest moment Bryant-Denny has ever had was when Charlie Peprah did his best George Teague imitation against UGA in 2002.

Cody's block against UT was right below that one for me.

The Peprah strip was awesome. Missing the extra point and seeing little Billy Bennett win that game was not.

2005 Florida was louder
