So Auburn is the only team standing in our way for a chance to 3-peat

They can't pass for shite, but they can run the ball.

Our offense should have a field day though.

Who would have thought at the beginning of the season that the Iron Bowl would decide the West?

Should be awesome.

Frick Auburn. I hope we beat them to a pulp. 42-14 would be nice

I think Missouri shouldn't be discounted.

AU is pretty damn good. Their rushing attack is legit and Marshall can throw if he needs to. I'm actually quite uneasy about the game mainly because it's in Jordan-Hare. Completely different element to deal with, too.

I'm guessing it will be about our run defense against their run offense. We should be able to basically take away the only thing Auburn seems to be able to do, run. It will be interesting to see how Marshall handles having to throw it.

Florida St. is the only team in the way of a 3-peat.

This is my belief as well. They have a full complement of Saban recruits and we have a full complement of Saban recruits. It will be interesting to see the coaching match up decide this one.

It is a game we can win though. I think LSU's top two WRs are better than FSU's. Winston is more dynamic than Mett, and it doesn't look like the big moment is too big for him, but when you consider it's the National Title, the final of the BCS Era, and it is in the ROSE BOWL? I'll take the team full of guys who have been there done that.

They'll give us a fight, don't get me wrong.

I agree. I think both games vs Auburn and Mizzou will be similar to the LSU game.

Missouri can easily be discounted.

Just because they beat Georgia, they are overrated. The fact is that Georgia was going to beat them by 3 touchdowns until UGA kept fumbling the ball and Murray throwing interceptions.

Bama will have no problem with Missouri.

They have two good pass rushers in Sam and Ealy, but that's it.

Hell, even South Carolina beat them.

Now... if the stars align and UGA gets to the SECCG, watch out.

Bama is clearly the better team, but any time you line up against Murray and Gurley, you are going to have some problems.

tl;dr- Bama gonna win it all again.

ETA- Auburn is a joke and is about to get exposed.

They have recruited extremely well the last couple of years. They are probably the only team in the country that has been on par with us in that department.

I feel they have a ton of guys on that team that we recruited extremely hard.

They are probably a worse match up for Bama than AU is.

Yup

Auburn's strength on offense plays right into Bama's strength. If everyone keeps eye discipline and doesn't get dazzled by the window dressing, Bama should control the LOS and slow Auburn's rush attack down.

Mizzou on the other hand, Mizzou can do some shite we don't like. They have some tall arse receivers that could abuse the shite out of our corners.

Not that Auburn would be a pushover, I just think that what Mizzou does on offense will stress Bama more.

IMO we have the best team (and coaches) in the country. If we continue to play as we are accustomed to seeing we have a great chance to do the unreal.
