Where the heck will we be? Will we even move up any?

Personally I do not think Baylor is any good. I watched them against OU and OU gave them the game, could have been a lot closer. That said, IF bama wins (they may not), top 4 is set in stone.

1. Bama
2. FSU
3. OSU
4. Baylor

After that, it is tricky. I think we are going to finally start getting some respect in the human polls (serious respect). We had an early game a lot of people saw and lets face it, we could have put up 60-70 and our D only gave up 1 TD off a turnover in knoxville.

AU, Mizzou, Stanford, and Clemson are all right there and the 5 spot should be close. The resumes are similar and really ours stacks up better than any of the others by a small margin when combing best win and the 1 loss.

Best win/loss:

AU: AtM road / LSU road
Stanford: Oregon home / Utah road
Mizzou: UGA home / USC home
Clemson: UGA neutral / FSU home

We may not even move up, but 5-9 will all be tight.

I agree, we may stay the same.

Stanford is going to be number 5 by a lot, but they shouldn't be. They can be number 5, but the gap will be inflated. A lot.

6-9 will all be VERY tight IMO.

Not sure we move. Maybe jump Mizzou and/or Clemson.

Our margin to Mizzou is pretty close, so it's possible. Depends on the human polls.

This is not going to be this way. We go up in the computer rankings and Mizzou will lose ground due to SOS with UK

Our win was also very convincing in Neyland when we were supposed to lose according to analysts. People are starting to buy into Auburn

If we keep winning we will have the opportunity to rectify this on the field.

As it should be.

Yeah, I say most likely scenario is we jump Mizzou to #8. We could possibly pass Clemson who had a bye this week.

BTW, looks like Stanford will be #4 and Baylor #5.

I do think Stanford would kick the shite out of Baylor, so no complaints there. I think we would beat Baylor's arse pretty bad as well.

We may jump Mizzou. With OUs loss, we will move up a spot while they will remain, in one poll.

I would put money that Stanford is the top 1 loss team, then Oregon, then Clemson and then us when the polls are released. I think we will move past Mizzou with a road win by 30+ against UTk even though they are down this year.

We needed Oregon to loss too. By season's end I think if we win out our SOS and computer rankings will be ahead of Stanford. We just have to catch them with the voters. Stanford's SOS will take some hits down the stretch because IMO the 3 division leaders in the south, whom Stanford played, still have to play each other or other tough games so I think they will all have 1 more loss. It took one yesterday with ND losing. By season's end Stanford will have no more than 2 ranked teams on it's schedule and very likely just 1. Auburn will have played no less than 4 ranked teams at regular season's end and very well could be 5 if Ole Miss can beat Mizzou @ home in 2 weeks.
