New coach starting over.

Bobby came in and took over a run oriented offense losing DMAC, Felix, and Hillis and was trying to instill a spread passing offense. Bert came in and took over a spread passing team losing Wilson, Gragg, Hamilton, Davis, Johnson, and is trying to turn it into a run first team.

Both coaches took over defenses lacking any sort of depth and skill.

Both coaches were seen as coaches in over their heads by rantards despite the fact they both had already proven to be some of the top coaches in the game.

Bobby turned Arkansas into one of the top 3 teams in the SEC and de facto nation, and Bert will do at least that if he's here for 4 years. If he's here longer, we talkin about 'ships baby.

Was the OP about a popularity contest or about two coaches who DGAF about your opinion coming in and sailing all over the SEC? You know the answer.

2008 Arkansas got better as the year went on though. They did not regress like they have been doing under BB.

Bielema has never seen competition before.

He didn't just forget how to coach because he switched conferences. Rest of the SEC is just scared of a power team that will run them all over. Bama has won championships for years with a great offensive line, good running backs and a great defense. That's what Bielema will do at Arkansas and people don't know how to deal with it emotionally.

Hence the constant threads hanging on Bret's every word and the incessant Arkansas flaming.

I already told you, the similarities end after how little everyone likes them

Petrino could hold his own in the SEC, Bert is a whiney bitch that Wisconsin was glad to rid themselves of

Good luck to Bert with recruiting on Saban's level.

lulz at comparing the B10 to the SEC.

Their aren't any Illinois, Indiana, Purdue, Minnesota type teams here. Northwestern has gone back to their shitty selves. Oh, and Iowa is never been better than mediocre.

I remember when Arkansas lost Bobby Petrino, but it wouldn't make the offense suffer in anyway because his brother had taken over play calling duties...
