Bama does get pressure on the qb.

I see a lot of lsu posters saying bama doesn't get pressure. The stats don't show that bama gets pressure because they have a good defense. They get of the field. They make teams go 3&out so they get less chances to get defensive stats than defenses that allow long drives.

I'm not a huge homer. I just call out bama fans when they say they have a top 5 wr corp or that bama has 4 Wrs going in the first 3 rds of the nfl draft.

I'm not going to find it. It was the 22 page thread about Bama's secondary. Me and AllBamaDoes were arguing over bama having a top 5 wr corp in all of cfb and a bama poster said I was dumb and thy bama has 4 Wrs that will go in the first rd of the draft. I then explained to that bama poster how rare it is to have 4 wr on a cfb team DRAFTED at all , let alone in rds 1-3.

You're talking about ONE guy who said that, and he isn't even a guy with a recognizable screen name.

That's frightening since I don't think Cam ever dealt with blitzes in the NFL. OK, I'm scared now.

This is a good post. Saban defenses have never been predicated on pressure, and they rarely blitz. It's the Parcells/Belichick coaching influence. Fewer blitzes does mean fewer sacks, but it also means fewer holes in the defense for the offense to exploit. Force an offense to earn their yards all the way up the field.
