The number of the passes that go to these 2 are extraordinarily high.. in the off week I'm sure Saban/Smart have come up with a plan to take away the 1st 2 options after the snap...
LSU OL will have to hold up longer to get the ball to Mett's chosen 2... he won't have long.
Mett almost doesn't even look to spread the ball around, no other WR has over 10 catches..
Bama will punish that offense and this game will likely get ugly... Mett and his WR Duo will have to have a big game anyway just to keep up.. but knowing that we will scheme to take away what LSu likes to do. And now understanding that Mett is capable of making plays.. we won't lay off him like last year.

Walked on in 91, made the depth chart in the spring, couldn't stay cause I had to pay my own way thru school. It was a great experience... wish I could have stayed another season for obvious reasons..

OP is right. It's exactly what OM did and Mett still tried to force the ball down the field. If you don't think Saban is watching OM game tape and is going to put a safety over the top on OBJ's side of the field you are mistaken.
Hopefully, cam has been working with Mett on hitting the tightends and taking what the other team gives you underneath.
