Downtown, take a bus. Or pay $40 to park in someone's yard.

Get the TransLoc app and you can see in real time where the buses are.

Really, you can usually find street parking down around the main post office.

What do you define as a good place to park? Close to the stadium? Close to an easier exit route? Close to bars? Clear white lines marking the space?

You can park in the circle drive out in front of the presidents mansion.

Downtown is free for the most part. There are a few pay lots. It's about a mile walk, give or take. Lots of bars and restaurants. There's a shuttle that runs to campus for $1 per person. Doesn't start until 3 hours before kickoff though.

Depends. Are you one of these delusional LSU fans who thinks they have a chance and will therefore be all butthurt after you get stomped and want to get the hell out of dodge? Park somewhere along 10th avenue between Bryant and 15th Street. Easy access to the interstate.

Or are you a realist just looking to go to the game and have some fun but you have accepted your fate? Look for something to the West side of campus. I usually park down around Queen City Avenue and University Blvd. There is a shopping center there and I think it is like $30. You are walking distance to all the bars on the Strip.

I found a great spot this year. There is a small parochial school just off the Campus Drive exit off of McFarland Blvd (the very next exit after University Blvd) where you can park for $10 and it's a VERY EASY exit to McFarland Boulevard after the game. It's right across the street from Bob Baumhower's Wings Sports Grill and the Hampton Inn. There is a shuttle stop about 250 yards from this parking area that takes you to the Quad and you can carry a cooler and minor tailgating supplies on the shuttle.

You're welcome

You can't do that anymore. It's now a tow-away zone.

Park at Central High School on 15th street. It cost about 10-15 bucks and is about a 10 min walk from the quad, the strip etc etc. Not too bad getting out postgame either

The best answer you will get. Before I went to school and my parents bought a condo, this is the only place we would park. Easy walk to stadium/quad. Easy out after the game.

You can park at our gameday condo, I'll probably charge you $75 though
