How pissed will FSU, OSU and Baylor be if they remain unbeaten and are left out?

If everyone wins out, (quite possible at this point) then presumably it will be Alabama and Oregon in the NCG. Will this vindicate the need for the new playoff system?

I wonder how it feels to go unbeaten and be left out.

If FSU comes out undefeated, there is not a fricking chance they'll be left out.

It sucks. Truly.
Baylor will likely lose a game (OU, Tech, Oak State, UTex remaining)--probably this week.
But the other two?
Ouch.

One of them would still be left out under the new playoff system. Ouch

It'd be the perfect advocate for a playoff. Just getting it a year late

Disagree. Oregon is ahead of them in both the Harris and Coaches Poll. FSU could very well be #2 with tonight's BCS standings but will fall to #3 again next weekend if both Alabama and Oregon take care of business. And, if Alabama and Oregon both remain undefeated, they will stay that way for the remainder of the season because Oregon's strength of schedule is just too good for FSU to overcome.

If Alabama, Oregon, Florida State, Ohio State, and Baylor all go undefeated, there will be a lot of pissed off people.

Or that time when LSU got to play in the national title game with 2 losses.

As there should be.

Baylor it is too early since their schedule is backloaded, but FSU and OSU are through the meat of their schedules and have done the job. It's hard to be a fan of one of those teams and no matter if you win by 50 the polls don't move at all

OSU fans aren't used to not getting their way. Over ranked the majority of most seasons and waltzing through a shitty conference. They'll surely throw a 3 year olds tantrum.

Agreed. Also, Oregon will get a decent re-match against UCLA in the Pac12 title game while FSU would likely play Miami again. Florida sucking so bad hurts FSU.

UGA fans, sometimes the bridesmaid, never the bride, most often the one not invited to the wedding

Baylor's not going to finish the year unbeaten. FSU or OSU will likely drop a game as well. It's not a fluke that there has only been two seasons since 1973 where three or more teams from a major conference finished the regular season undefeated.
It's really, really difficult to not drop a single game during the season. I won't be surprised at all if we have a one-loss team playing in the BCS Championship Game again this year.

There's no meat in Ohio State's schedule. Even Baylor thinks their schedule is weak.

We got married in the 80's.

But our engagement is much more difficult than ya'lls.
