What is his buy-out? That will probably be a big factor in whether he stays or goes.

His success at UNA and UL-La does not automatically translate into similar success in the SEC. Making a decision on your current coach in fear of losing an opportunity at a perceived "ringer" would be stupid and irresponsible.

Seriously? Hell, there are a handful of coordinators, in the SEC, who make more than that.

Memory not too sharp. Over $2.5MM with 3 left on it. Not sure what it would cost to cut him loose right now. It would probably be negotiated but I am thinking around $7mm

Mullens is a good coach amd clearly as good a coach as msu can get.
