He knows what should be done. He just needs a better staff and work on coaching his staff better.

At least when state screws up he knows what should have been done and chews coaches or players arse.

Contrast that with Les who seems to not have a clue when lsu screws up.

Honestly, given the choice for LSU, who would you rather have coaching, Les or Mullen?

Good coaches communicate to the staff what is going to happen in that situation... The entire last minute was a disaster in clock management.

I think calling 2 consecutive timeouts screwed them way more than sending the special teams unit out. Not sure they would've had enough time to spike it anyway

If mullen had the payroll for staff and the players lsu had he would win championships.

State is just a terrible job period.

dude hit the ceiling at state a few years ago. he should have gotten out while his stock was high. nowhere to go but down now.
