I wish it really went to the best player.. Should be based on tangible numbers, but that would still be unfair with teams like Oregon playing scrubs.

The years they give it to the right guy it's painfully obvious so who cares.
However any years there is any sort of debate they almost always give it to the wrong guy.
It's become way too media driven.
It's been bad for years but has gotten worse the past decade.
If your team wins one, fine, but nobody is crying themselves to sleep over not.

I used "/thread" because Mark Ingram winning the Heisman was a complete farce. It was obvious that the trophy was awarded to the best player on the best TEAM. That's why the Heisman Trophy is a joke/beauty pageant.
