Looks like the university is doing another mascot survey... the 3 options are Blackbear, Landshark, and Col Reb.

If we thought the previous mascot fiasco was a PR disaster, wait until they go through it all over again.
And the Colonel wins going away of course, but that's not even the issue.

Is this real? If so I'm surprised the out col reb. Maybe this can get the university to change to the landshark though. Surely they realize how much money they're missing out on by not having it as the official mascot.

Yeah im shocked the university is wanting to go through all of this again. I just hope the landshark doesn't "win", IMO it would sort of ruin it

That's not university, that's someone's class project. Those things are getting emailed around like crazy right now.

Col Reb's not coming back. If you haven't accepted that yet, then you have issues. I'm all for celebrating the colonel, but he's no longer our mascot.

I don't think anyone actually believes the Colonel is coming back.
Just bringing up the issue, whether it's the University or someone's class project, does far more harm than good.

I thought we handled the whole mascot thing worse than anyone in history.....till i saw this thing at the NO Arena last night. My kids wouldn't go near it.
