If Saban detected Big NCAA Sanctions on the Horizon, would he depart Alabama?

This is the only reason I could see Saban leaving Alabama any time soon.

There seems to be a lot of smoke there too.

He would relish the challenge of fielding a team of walk-ons.

Maybe he just found out he has an illegitimate child and wants to retire to spend time with him/her.

IMO yes, he would leave. I don't think he will leave for another job unless sanctions come down.

Miami just basically got a slap on the wrist for some major stuff, but you think a small loan and agent activity is going to bring Bama to it's knees?

Big sanctions now are headed in the 'Show cause' direction, so it would depend on that, I'd say.

You can't just cheat and bail anymore...or so that's the concept according to my inate inability to process cognative thunk.

I think he'll leave for NCAA reasons or boredom, either of which could happen pretty soon.

I think the days of the NCAA "hammering" anyone are long gone. Everything they find out now is a few years after the fact and they don't have enough man-power to actively police their own rules as it is. Nick has become a damn Jedi when it comes to skirting around NCAA rules.

No idea, but that is the only reason I could ever see him being fired.
