Will it be the winner of A&M/LSU? Will it be Auburn? Mizzou? USCe? I think whoever wins the East will ultimately hurt their chances as they will face Bama in the SECCG. If the east runner up only has 2 losses and doesn't go to Atlanta because of the tie-breaker, then they might have a good shot at getting the invite. IMO teams' chances rank:

1. Auburn
2. East runner up
3. LSU/A&M winner
4. East champion

Obviously if Bama loses a game, and FSU and Oregon win out then Bama will go. But let's assume Bama is in the National Championship

Alabama imho

edit: missed the last part

I guess my next guess would be A&M. East runner up will suck and the SECC loser usually gets shafted.

i dont think a 3 loss LSU team is sugar bowl worthy.

if auburn wins out until the iron bowl i could see them going.

if mizzou wins out they probably have next best shot.

I don't see Mizzou beating A&M. I think Clemson has a good chance of beating South Carolina. Mizzou could possibly have a good chance if they finish 2nd in the east with 2 losses. If Auburn beats everyone but Bama, it will be them IMO

I think South Carolina would have to win out for that to happen. That would include games vs Clemson and Alabama in Atlanta. I really don't see that happening

If we have to play FSU then someone else can have it. kidding of course. Auburn is in the driver seat.

Looks like Central Florida is going to be the opponent for the SEC in the Sugar bowl

If y'all beat UT, UGA, and Arkansas it's y'alls. I don't think it's absurd to think there's a chance Auburn drops one of those, however.

UGA is the only one I'm worried about...they'll be healthy

A&M. They wouldn't pass up on Johnny Football.

Just one guy's opinion

quote:

The only change from last week's breakdown: Missouri obviously looks less like a Sugar Bowl team. The Tigers would likely still make it in with two losses, but now that they have one loss already, the rest of that schedule looks much stickier: Tennessee, at Kentucky, at Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and potentially vs. Alabama.

Which could set up a nice battle for the SEC's second BCS spot, between Auburn, Missouri, LSU, South Carolina, and Texas A&M. And if they all finish with two or three losses, I think the answer's simple: nobody's passing up Johnny Manziel's last college game. If the Aggies knock off LSU in Baton Rouge and otherwise remain clean, the Sugar seems like a sure bet, but I think even a 9-3 A&M will be the pick, so long as Missouri loses again.

Selection order:

1. 2 loss aTm team/2 loss Mizzou team (one in champ)
2. 2 loss SC team
3. 2 loss AU team
