If we take care of business the next few weeks (which we should) I think we have legitimate shot at the Sugar Bowl.

This thread may be a little premature, but should get some good conversation out of it.

Remaining games:
@Arkansas: No way in hell they beat us...no matter where this game is played. Yeah they have a full two weeks to prepare, but we are just on a different playing level than them right now.

@Tennessee: Out of our remaining games, this is the one that has me worried the most(excluding the IB). Do I believe we have the better team and should win? Yes, but it is never an easy task to go into Neyland Stadium and expect to completely dominate a Tenn team. Should be a good game but I still think we have the advantage and come out with the win.

Georgia: First off.... at that Vandy game. They are depleted and hurting right now. Granted they will probably have Gurley back by then, but his other half will still be missing. Their defense isn't what it used to be, and their offense is missing a lot still. I think we win this one with ease and get our revenge for what they did to us last year in Jordan Hare.

Iron Bowl: This game is setting up to be huge for both teams. I see them winning the rest of their remaining games up to this game. They are a hell of a team, but I do think they can be beat. They've improved a lot on both sides of the ball lately, but they really haven't had anyone challenge them since A&M. This game is in our house this year, and for this game you throw out all statistics and leave it all on the field. We can score on them and crazier things have happened in this game. Oh yeah and Bama

I see us going into the IB sitting at 10-1. Win or lose this game we will be sitting very pretty with our possible bowl bids.
We win, well y'all all know what will be looking us in the face if that scenario happens...
We lose, I believe we would still be in the driver seat to get the invite to the Sugar Bowl. The east is going to continue to beat themselves up and I don't see any East team getting looked at for the Sugar Bowl bid. USCe still has a lot of work to do and will probably lose to Clemson. Mizzou still has to play Ole Miss and A&M their last two games...that's a tough last two games for any SEC team.

Thoughts???

ETA: Sorry for it being so long. Been drinking all night and still pumped at what our team is achieving this year. The future is bright and it is great to be an Auburn Tiger. War Eagle fellas

Pasadena.

ETA: On a serious note:
ARK - They tend to play AU tight in the last several years. Realistically, AU should dominate Arkansas, but AU had better not overlook them.

Tenn. - Neyland has been a cursed place this season. I'll be happy to see AU leave with a W and no injuries.

Georgia - Those injuries have them extremely hampered. Gurley being back could make their offense a bit more deadly. Richt's coaching will be teseted. Should be a solid W for AU.

Bama - This is the interesting one of course. Intense rivalry game with potential BCSNCG implications. AU definitely has the potential to win this one, and I believe that having the game in Jordan-Hare will be huge. I do pick AU to win this.

Finish 11-1 with a chance at the natty :nana: :nana: :nana:

Yes, I am in full posibarner mode.

I said the same last week. Mizzou losing last night opened that BCS at large spot for us. If we win all but the IB we only need a few things now to ensure we would get that BCS bid. Bama beat LSU, LSU beat TAMU, and Mizzou lose 1 more.

1 for 1

Arkansas' coach needs to bring him and his tampons back to the Big 10. This is big boy football...
