For now at least.... the shitty thing is they're actually ranked and we aren't.

Yes but mizzou owns it over us so that doesn't come into play unless they lose 2 more

Which isn't unlikely. Here's to hoping they pull a WVU and drop their last 5 games

I can see them splitting one between Tennessee and Ole Miss and losing to Texas A&M.

Well I think they'll lose to Texas A&M.

They have 3 more games and without knowing who they play I think they're currently way above their level so they could lose.

This is fricking pathetic. We're hoping for another team to lose 2 games so what?......we can edge them out on the SEC east? Maybe we can get an SEC East fell bassackwards into almost winning something title.

We just need to try and get a win over FL and AU to at least not be totally emarassed by this shitstorm of a season.

I don't care at this point. Yeah, it'd be nice if we "fell into" the East, but I'm not expecting it.

I'm just in a good mood because those boring punks lost tonight.

Which could happen. Missouri still has to play 4 SEC games because there first 4 games were all non-conference games. They could easily slip up against Tennessee, Ole Miss and A&M. If they just lose one more SEC game and UGA and SC both win out, we could end up with a 3 way tie.

Missouri would go, because they lost a game out of the division...

Yes.

This is how it works out.

If MIzzou wins out, they win the SECe, but they have to play Tenn, Ole Miss and aTm.

For USC to win the SECe, Mizz has to lose 1 more game. If Mizz, UGA and USC all have 2 SEC losses, the higher ranked team goes to the SECCG.

For UGA to win the SECe, Mizz has to lose 2 more SEC games, or Mizz loses 1 more and UGA has to shoot up the rankings a lot and win out (Cocks and UF have to lose games)

For UF to win the SECe, Mizz has to lose 2 more SEC Games, or UF has to shoot up the rankings a lot and win out (Cocks and UGA have to lose games.)

The loser of the UF/UGA game will pretty much be eliminated from contention for the SECe bid to the SECCG.

Sorry but not exactly right.

If MIZZ loses one in the east. Then. Your right. If all win out Highest bcs goes. Which I think is interesting considering it could come down to USC-CLEMSON to determine rankings between UGA-USC

If MIZZ loses only one but in the west they go.

If they lose 2 , UGA goes.

This is assuming all other games are wins of course.

"IF" UGA, SC & Mizzou all finish 6-2 in conference & 1-1 against each other...

It would come down to the final tiebreaker - the final BCS standings. But it's not necessarily the highest-ranked team that wins the tiebreaker.

"IF" the highest and second-highest ranked teams are within five places of each other in the standings, it will be the head-to-head winner of the top two teams going to the title game.

So if Mizzou loses( have to lose to UK or UT... a loss to maTm won't hurt them) to go 6-2 & were to fall below UGA & SC who need to win out (including the GT & CU games for BCS ranking purposes)in the BCS standings... IF SC & UGA were within 5 spots of each other, UGA would go due to H to H vs SC....

ETA... for this to happen Mizzou's loss would have to be to Tenn. or UK.... Not ATM...

In a 3 way tie or more.
It goes
Conf record
Division record
Bcs ranking

Tie breaker

So in my scenario above Mizzou's 2nd loss would have to be to UT or UK?? (since UGA & SCe losses were both division losses)...
