Say your playing Alabama, do you expect better than 60-40??? Long haul for a majority of your fan base.

I'd bet that they'd have a damn good showing. Definitely better than 60-40.

It'd be a huge contingent. I know Mizzou has a reputation for not traveling well, but if they make the SECCG, throw all that out the window. Bama would still outdraw us, but it'd be a lot closer than you think.

It would be 60-40 Bama fans, y'all have fans that would pay a years worth of home mortgages to make sure it happens. I do think we would travel very well considering Atlanta is not a hot bed for our alumni base

It all depends on if/when Mizzou clinches. If we somehow have it wrapped up after the Tennessee game, We would probably bring 25k or so.

If we don't clinch until late in the season, 15-20k would be about right.

while that is partly true, you need to consider the fact that we have been to Atlanta a few times over the past 5 years. On top of the consideration for travel to California for the Rose Bowl. THere may be a bit of fatigue for us.

But the Bama alumni base is strong in Atl... So we would still pack it out.

I would hope this doesn't matter at all..

Having t-shirt fans would matter a lot for Mizzou. Most of our fans would have to pick between going to ATL for SECCG or possibly trying to go to a BCS title game. With the negative nature of Mizzou fans, most will assume a loss in ATL (rightfully so) and probably focus on the bowl game either way.

If we had a lot of alumni or t-shirt fans locally in atlanta, it would insure a better Mizzou turnout.

I asked Harry. He's going if the Tigers make it.
