Did I read correctly that Saban said Sunseri is out for the season? If so, how much of a loss is this for Alabama?

he was having an all american type year at safety so far this year, but landon collins is playing really well, and we have clinton-dix back at free safety. as long as we dont get any more injuries at the position we will be fine

Wow, can any Alabama fan give a straight answer? I just went back and read the article again, and Saban announced today that he is out with a knee injury and having surgery tomorrow.

He was put on two separate mid season all American teams.

I like Sunseri, but he has his limitations. The injury hurts with leadership and depth.

Vinnie has been great this year. I don't know enough about the safeties in other conferences, but at the least he was having a 1st team all SEC type season.
