This is not a flame or troll. Okay? If Texas fires Brown, would UT be interested in Les? Would Les be tempted to leave LSU? I think Les is a great college coach and I'm not being a smart arse here. At LSU it seems like Miles catches hell from the fanbase a lot. He would probably be treated the same at Texas too. However, Les would be great for Longhorn Network. He seems like a people person. However, I think it would be hard to walk away from a badass program like LSU. What do y'all think?

The next place Les goes is his couch after retirement like Saban.

LSU fans can't ever be happy.

It is sad, but so true.

Texas is such a high profile job that requires so much more than just about any other job. I think Les just wants to coach. He doesn't want to do around the clock management of the program without ever being able to take a timeout for himself.

Texas would not offer Les. His personality wouldn't fit in Austin what with the LHN and all. Won't happen

I think Texas would offer. I think Les says "no" for the reasons you stated. Texas probably will offer, though.

That surprises me. IMO Les Miles has the best personality in CFB. He's a hell of a coach too. I think he could woo the big money longhorns and the average fans would love the guy. The fact is, he is a winner and a national champion coach. He would be a grand slam hire for UT. Maybe he's more private than I'd imagined but he would be great on TV for their Longhorn Network. I hope he stays at LSU b/c I love Bama playing against him.

Yeah, because Miles is such a wildcard and his teams can whip your arse on any given Saturday. UA-LSU Saban Vs Miles has been a great series.

I don't want it to end.

True. After speaking with my Texas buddy's about would Texas offer Les they just started laughing. I should have clarified some, I think Les's personality is a little to goofy for that university. What the hell do I know though? Could be completely wrong. Just my 2 cents
