We rotated 10 defensive linemen yesterday. Ten.

That is incredible to me. Hell of a lot of guys. All of our 2 deep played plus two more.

Next year, 10 of those 12 guys return, plus Whitaker who obviously did not play.

Wright and Owens have been the biggest surprises to me. Owens made Joekel look bad a couple of times yesterday.

Owens appears to have found his position. Always fun to see the light go ON for a guy that has been fighting to find his place.

Future looks very bright! The talent has been here the coaching and attitude hasn't.

The SEC is so fricked for the foreseeable future. I love it.

This defensive line is absolutely filthy. Imagine if we still had Lemonier at DE.

Going to be fun to watch the rest of this year and next year.

You could even say he made him.....look like a joke.

My work here is done.

Like you mentioned in the other thread, this is a big part of why we are so fresh at the end of the game.

I can't wait to see them play a statue style QB like McCarron.

Well... with Joeckel living in Jacksonville now, he was probably just jetlagged from the trip. Plus the whole broken ankle thing doesn't help.

(Luke Joeckel left TAMU last year for the NFL. You're thinking of their other NFL OT, Jake Matthews. The only Joeckel left is their backup QB who threw a couple sad, sad passes while Manziel was out.)

He might get a chance on Sundays. Biggest surprise of the year IMO.

I always felt bad for him. He's always had the athletic ability to be good/great. Our previous coaches just couldn't use him. Imagine him as a Upshaw role at bama. I think he'd fit it perfectly.

Was thinking he would be a beast in the 3-4. He has gotten a lot better since the beginning of the year.
