Serious question. They obviously mailed it in last year after they were out of the MNC picture, so does it happen again this year?

yes. we are going 8-4 for sure but possibly 7-5 giving bert his first big win. Les miles has a history of losing to first year arky coaches when he has no business losing to them.

sadly 7-5 knocks us out of contention for our chicken championship so might get stabbed in memphis instead

I don't take this as a flame, as they definitely mailed it in last season. I would be seriously disappointed if they did this year. It is a younger team than last year that should strive to be better. Last years team had a lot of guys that were entitled and were thinking more about themselves than team.

Most likely....except for the Bama game. That will be a close game.

If we lose the Bama it'll get ugly after that. (see 2008).

since 2008 we have mailed it in every time this happens.

2008 after bama we give up vs ole miss and then implode in arkansas

2009 after losing to bama again we see the team play like poop the rest of the way.

2010 we stayed in the title hunt just a game back until the end of the season and then we embarrass ourselves vs petrino

2011 we waited until the nc to quit

2012 after bama we played as bad as we could

i witnessed bobby petrino take lil dick and dick slap les miles around the field in 08 and of course with a 1 percent chance at winning the game miles chose the no chance at winning by attempting a fg that was 63 yards in bad weather with a kicker that could barely hit from 45.

Does it matter? Independence Bowl or Peach Bowl, and if that opponent runs a spread with a QB with anything but lead feet, then there's a very good chance that game will be an L, based on what LSU has shown defensively this year.

And what player wouldn't want to give his all for a coach that can't manage his timeouts and give his team a chance?

Couldn't imagine... /sarc

the only thing good about the defense this year is that NONE will be declaring early for the draft

I hope not. The Bama/LSU game still has the potential to be epic.

I'd quit if I continually couldn't get my team ready to beat inferior opponents

How exactly is beating Miss State, Ole Miss, and Arkansas after losing to Bama "mailing it in" ??????????????????????
We were 10-2 and within 1 4th and 16 stop against Clemson from being 11-2 and in the Top 5 again.
You are very very stupid.

We tend to miss the real issue. For whatever reason, Miles tends to play "not to lose" ball when the mid season point gets here. His inability to stay with the offense that works early on kills us every year. This year, we field a shell of last years D, which hurts even more.
I dont think the players will quit. Our staff will put them in piss arse positions the rest of the way. This will make it look like our guys are quiting.

Guess i'll hope for Fournette the rest of the year.

I have achieved enlightenment from not GAF anymore and not sweating it when we lose...I don't know about giving up but I think the team will play with a kind of nothing to lose mentality...but not the kind where they play scrappy, the kind where they are lackadaisical. So now that I have typed all of this, yes, they will give up.

We should beat Arky and it's a toss up with A&M, however if the D doesn't get fixed JFF will frick shite up.

Bama will go in dry.
