Better get gas too if you are able to find a gas station before dark.

We have way to many people in the north part of the state that like to tell people how to live their lives like it is 1950. When I was at state we had to vote a bunch of students onto the board of alderman to get cold beer and now beer on Sundays. Oxford just did the same. When we passed beer on use days their was a large contingent if grey hairs telling people that everyone would be getting raped. True story.
As far as liquor it is all a state law and the state controls and distributes all liquor.

It's weird buying it here after being it dry my entire life. The first time we got a cold beer cave was a cathartic moment.

Only reason I knew U.C. was dry is because when I played on a U-Trip traveling team and we played in a tourney in New Albany, our coaches and dads were pissed they couldn't get drunk after our game.

We literally just got hard alcohol last year. We've had beer for a few years. People were shocked when the world didn't end and chaos reign if it showed up in our town.

I've bought liquor in MS many times. You simply go to the liquor store before they close at 9.
This is not a difficult thing.
