Per AU247 posters seen him around campus with a knee brace on and he tweeted about being at Auburn High's game tonight. Sucks.

There is nothing about being at the AHS game on his twitter now.

Yeah they said it has since been deleted, people were saying he is sitting with Troop at the AHS game.

Here is the most tangible possible info we have so far
and from a 247 poster

@HeyItsJholsey Out here watching @BlaiseTaylor1 and he already scored
and from a 247 poster

Guy I know at the Auburn High game said he thought he saw Holsey sitting with Trooper at the game with a blown out knee( he thought). Would line up with him tweeting that.....

Ricardo Louis tweeted he was praying and playing for Holsey against A&M and deleted right after.
Major blow.

The only thing B Matthews has said is he will have an update on Holsey before the game tomorrow.

Men, he hasn't outshined any other player in the secondary this year. OTOH, the depth issue is starting to peak up.

quote:No offense to Holsey, but if we HAD to lose one of our secondary starters, Holsey would hurt the least. Ryan Smith plays just as much anyways. Depth is definitely lacking though, which is the main issue

quote:are you kidding? You dont hear his name often because he is locking down his man and the ball is not being thrown in his direction...He is an amazing player and losing him hurts. Hopefully Mackenro can pick up the slack this game...very impressed with the true freshmen up to this point

You got just about everything wrong in this post besides he is a good player.
He can't lock down his man, because that's not what a safety does. Losing him doesn't really hurt because his backup has done pretty good, it does hurt depth though. His backup is Ryan Smith not Mackenro. Mackenro is at Star.
