Hey!!! I'm in town for the Florida game and would like to meet y'all. As is my custom, I'll be at Harpo's this afternoon around 4ish. If anyone is game let me know. I'll be wearing a Mizzou block M hat and a New Orleans Rugby Club t-shirt. Come by for a few beers if you have the chance. Later.

I wouldn't go to Harpo's if you paid me. Never have seen the charm in that place, its shitty food, its watered down beer, or the dead cockroaches you sometimes find on or around your table. A truly sh*tty place.

My parents live in Columbia and my little brother attended Mizzou. Nothing like visiting family on an important home game weekend. Yeah, I understand the negativity regarding Harpo's but I enjoy the Friday afternoon atmosphere. Plus they're the only place that has Boulevard Tank 7 on draft. Hope to see some of y'all there to pass a good time. Go Tigers (both varieties)!!!

Yeah, not hating on you. Just a kneejerk reaction to hearing/seeing the word "Harpo's."

Yep they do. I'm here until about 5:30 then I have to meet the parents for dinner at Flatbranch. As for later this evening who knows? By the way lots of jortsians here at Harpos.

Harpo's has exactly what you're looking for in a college town:
1. cheap beer
2. cheap food
3. attractive women
4. fun atmosphere
Edit: I'm not arguing that it's a classy place though, it clearly isn't.

Agreed, Harpos food used to be terrible. HOWEVER, they have a new menu with a BBQ theme and the wings (dare I say it) are better than CJs.

If anybody is out and about tonight celebrating a great victory, let me know. I'll probably watch the LSU-Ole Pissgame at Harpos or Shiloh.
