Has the Rant always been this shitty?

Serious question. Maybe I've just gotten more cynical and grouchy or something, but god damn this place is unbearable.
"This place" isn't the OM board in particular (or the Grindrant) but just the Rant in general. I remember it being fun. I don't really know why.

I've all but stopped going to tRant. I only come to this board and the recruiting board.

I know I wasn't here long before it but ATPB killed the SECrant. The thread was linked on every SEC board there is and crazies all showed up. It went from informative. funny, good natured discussion with a few troll threads to all troll threads and good threads getting 3 replies. Chicken never tried to stop it because board activity was at an all time high.

If you took away the LSU posters from the Rant it would improve it a lot. It seems like the horrible ones all flock to the Rant. If you go to the OT Lounge, you can see some of the good ones.

They don't bother me as much. All of the LSU Ranters are probably posters that get made fun of on the other boards and are forced to post on the Rant.

Someone could just create a flowchart for all LSU responses. They basically just say the same thing over and over to anything. They are like a retarded Borg.

I have a theory that being a fan of a successful program lowers your IQ. When you are an LSU fan, all you have to do is say last years score, or mention head to head record, general low hanging fruit responses which after being used over and over start to slowly dilute the mind beyond repair. When you're an OM or State fan you have to get creative to win arguments, and in doing so constantly feed your brain.
Being a fan of a successful program also paralyzes your sense of humor.

You would think that LSU has had enough success to where they would not be the most sensitive people on Earth...but it's not happening. Hopefully A&M and Alabama will beat them.

I do agree that it isn't as good as it used to be , mostly due to aTm posters and Tiger Rant rejects... But it's still home to some of the funniest and most quick witted posters on the entire internet.
