So who's the likely East team in the SECCG?

Can UGA hold it together? Can UF find an offense? Can USCe make a run? Can Mizzou win out?

Carolina fell in a funk after the UGA game but it appears they've gotten their purpose back, especially seeing UGA drop one to mizz.
I think they are ready to make a run.
Also, the loser of the UGA-CAR game has won the East for the last 3 years.
ETA- SC has it all.... great run game, great pass game, stellar defense.

I would love to say Mizzou, but right now it appears that South Carolina has the best team in the East. I think Mizzou is positioned best of the other three, but I think they need to beat FL and SC back to back to win it...very tough chore with a back-up QB.

Not quite. Improving I would say maybe. But we don't have the size at LB to make it happen I don't think. If we ended up playing against Bama's duo or Hill from LSU, we would really struggle to stop the run. It would mean a stellar showing from the LB corps and a long-expected performance from the DL for us to stop the run like we did last year (see UGA game).
Having said that, I still think we take the East this year. Mike Davis has been taking yards from everyone. Our OL is huge and will only get better and hopefully stay healthy. Shaw, as long as he is in the game, it is good for Carolina. He has been throwing the best of his career this year. 10TD 0 INT. That says it all.

Doesn't matter. SEC West will win again.
UGA has no defense and half their skill players are out for the season.
Mizzou lost Franklin.
UF has a stellar defense but that offense looks like all kinds of ugly.

Doesn't matter. All that matters is whoever wins needs to get ready to beat LSU or A&M in the SECCG. Both could face up to be a challenge.
