I have a hard time seeing them playing this week if they don't practice.

"I think what we want is a really healthy Todd Gurley," Richt said. "We want him to be at his best. We don't want him to go in there without being full speed because if you do it's not really safe for him. It also can cause another setback that might set him down even longer. "Whenever he looks healthy enough and feels healthy enough, we'll play him."

No sense is risking more injury. Our title hopes are shot.

We got bigger problems to worry about other than whether Gurley plays or not...

Carta Samuels is 2 spots nationally behind MU's Franklin in Pass.Eff... Will Jordan Matthews get +/- 200 yds rec.? he's the best WR we'll prolly see all year & VU targets him 12-15 times a game...

Agreed. If he was on the other side of the ball, it would be a different story.

We still have a very long season ahead, no need to risk them against Vandy. A healthy Gurley is crucial to making it to the SEC champ game, and if hes healthy there we'll win.

Hamstring injuries are hard to recover from. Tray may drag arse the rest of the season. Has anyone heard anything about Gurley's injury being worse than what they are saying?

Initially they just called it a sprain. Lately they've referred to it as a high ankle sprain (at least in the media). Two very different injuries, as far as I know.

It's supposed to be a grade one sprain if I am not mistaken

Grade 1: Some light tears on the collagen fiber
ETA:2-4 weeks

Grade 2: Partial ligament damage, where SOME not all of the collagen fiber in the ligament is damaged
ETA:4-8 weeks

Grade 3: Complete tear of the ligament, basically just as bad or worse than a broken ankle.
ETA: season ending
