OT - Two new breweries coming to Athens

Local craft beer scene is booming and all of these guys are UGA alumn.
A lot of you are probably aware of Creature Comforts Brewery set to open next Spring in the old Snow Tire building.
Southern Brewing Co. is building a new brewery on the North side of Athens, across from Athens Tech (more or less). I've had the opportunity to hang out with and brew with Brian Roth, the brewer and brains behind the operation. This place is going to be awesome. They're already planning on collaborating with other local breweries as well as some bigger breweries such Stone.

Hell yes, didn't know about the one near Athens Tech. Creature Comforts will be a blast since it is right downtown and I'm sure will be delicious.

Those are supposed to be hops. Sorry for the lo-res. The brewer is working with a local artist for all of the labels, various creatures...

Creature Comforts is going to be small and presumably remain small due to the constraints of their address. So, my guess is they won't have a lot of employees. Southern Brewing Co. wants to become a regional player in the craft beer scene. Initially small, but expanding quickly. But, I have no idea when they will begin hiring. I think they want to have their beer on the shelves by next summer.
