I am headed to Knoxville on business tomorrow. I'm staying at a Hilton downtown

I would prefer something I can walk to.

Market Square. Tons of good food in there, also Chesapeakes seafood is about a minute walking distance from the Hilton

"The bar" the restaurant in the hotel is good. But yeah market square is real good. Downtown grill and brewary is great, as is Nama for sushi, pricey of course.

If you want some fine cuisine, there is a Shoney's nearby. Get a chocolate bar cake to finish off an excellent meal, you're welcome.

If for whatever reason you plan on leaving the downtown area, Ye Old Steak house is one of the best steak houses in the state. Actually just got done watching them on Man vs food not to long ago

Stayed at the Hilton 2 weeks ago for work. Walk to Market Square and there's plenty to choose from.

Knoxville is actually a pretty cool town. I've enjoyed my business trips there.

Stock and Barrel. Just opened about a month or two ago. Good burgers and awesome selection of bourbon.

Or you can head over to The Carousel. Best hot dogs in town from what I hear.

The Carousel

Parked outside the Carousel several nights prior to realizing the nature of the establishment (for several weeks I was just like - UT really has a strong homosexual presence).
