Using 247Composite, here is where they fall

Hurd
Kelly, Jr.
Bates
Blair
McDowell
Lambert
Helm
Booth
Payne
Weatherd
Barnett
Mouhon
Evan Berry
Bryant
Wolf
Henderson
Paulk
Brown, Jr.
Gaulden
Wharton
Thomas
Creamer
Elliott Berry
Jackson
Raulerson
Medley
Dews
Moseley

Elliott is a stretch, just like Creamer, but I think you take both due to them being legacies and having very projectable measurables.

Evan is a clear take. In fact, once you get past Helm on that list, only Barnett and Gaulden are better prospects imo.

It's silly to suggest they should be told to look around just because they're taking their time making it public.

That's your opinion, also I ment to put Elliot in the last post not Evan. I like Evan as a prospect, I don't like the package deal with all the prospects above him. Why add another guy in the same category as Creamer when you can add somebody else on a higher tier.

Ideally I'd like to end the class with Malone, Hendrix, Mosely, Pearson, and either Evan or 1-2 more OL/DL players. Given that Jackson more then likely loses his spot and Dew possibly grey shirts. Add Gennesy(outside looking in) with Blair and those are day 1 contributors for the Oline. That's just my opinion

I get what you're saying but there are worse commits we could drop instead of Elliott. Evan will be a damn good player for Tennessee and volfan is right, they're both under hyped to an extent.

If Butch approached James Berry about only taking Evan and not Elliott, that would blow up in his face so badly.

Also, I read the other day that we may try to take 32 this year and deal with the penalties next year since the class will be so small to begin with. If we do that, I really doubt we will have to turn any big talent away.

I understand you take both are none, and if we do I'll cheer for them the same as I would any one else. I just like a few guys a little more. Either way I trust who ever they decide to bring along

So, now there's speculation that Evan is a Tennessee lock, and Elliot may focus on school, and drop football altogether.

Probably not true, but that's the word on multiple Vol boards.
