If they are UT locks like people seem to think, why don't they just commit?

Eric was never going anywhere but Tennessee, but he took his time, kept a low profile, and took a few free visits.

Evan and Elliott are doing the same, they're VFL.

They are waiting until after their HS season before they announce things publicly. Apparently doing it for more publicity for their teammates.

Though I doubt any coaches except Tennessee coaches are bothering to go to their games.

Weren't they expressing some frustration that no other coaches were recruiting them?

Don't they have ties to AU as well.

Their tie was Trooper. He's gone. Berry twins were apparently vastly overhyped by Vol fans according to their ranking. I haven't seen them play though. I don't think we're even recruiting them. They're 2014 right?

They're friends and former HS teammates of AU DB Josh Holsey... don't think we're actively recruiting them though.

They were both way over hyped bc they're Eric's brothers. One of them is garbage and the other is decent enough for D-1. Can't remember which is which though.

Elliot is teh 114th ranked safety in the country
Evan is teh 25th ranked safety in the country
(Scout but Rivals and 24/7 both tell the same tale as well)

Elliot is a consensus ****; Rivals, ESPN, Scout, 247.

That's barely D1 now?

No he's not. Elliot is a mid 3 star. Evan is the better one. He's a solid prospect.

Not that it matters. We'll see how good they are when they get to college.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Evan want to play offense and UT wants him on D?

Elliot doesn't really have a true position which is another issue altogether.

UT fans need to have reasonable expectations for these guys. They can be good players, but they aren't their brother.

Most should know that, there's guys on a completely nother tier that will probably have to be told to look some where else, because they're "legacies". We'll see what happens

The pendilum has swung all the way in the other direction. They were overhyped early on in HS, but now it's gotten to the point where they're being underhyped, even by Vols fans. Not as good as Eric, but Evan is a damn good prospect. Hell, Elliott is better than Neiko Creamer and some of our other commits.

A 4*, top 25 player in GA at a position of need and he's a legacy and you don't want him?
