Everyone says recruiting ranking is an imperfect science. Sometimes we flip out when we lose a good recruit. I think these four that we lost from the 14 class, we are good to let there arses go free.......

Another former member of UGA’s 2014 football recruiting class has found a new home.

Krenwick Sanders, a wide receiver from Wayne County High School, committed to Wisconsin this week.

UGA’s 2014 class has 17 commitments so far, and four kids who backed off their pledges to the Bulldogs.

What’s really interesting is that the four de-commitments were the first four kids who committed to UGA for this year’s class – which may be a pure coincidence or directly related to the controversial issue of kids being offered scholarships by colleges too early and committing to early (That's not a UGA issue, but a college football issue).

Here’s a look at the four former UGA commits:
•Krenwick Sanders, WR: After Sanders didn’t attend any of UGA’s summer camps this past summer, there were countless rumors that the two sides had parted ways. Sanders ducked reporters for as long as he could, but finally confirmed it in July. He didn’t go into details, simply saying there was “just a drastic change of plans.” Early in the process, Sanders claimed offers from Florida State, Florida and South Carolina, among others. But some of those colleges had already filled those spots or moved onto other prospects by the time Sanders became a free agent again. Wisconsin went hard after Sanders before other colleges had time to fully evaluate him again (smart move, because Sanders has played well this season). The Badgers brought him up for an official visit a few weeks ago, and closed the deal in a hurry. Wisconsin is aiming for a “package deal” out of Wayne County, as it has also offered his teammate, defensive tackle Jeremy Patterson. That may have helped the Badgers with Sanders.
•Demarre Kitt, WR, Sandy Creek: Kitt committed to UGA as a sophomore, then backed off because he felt like he rushed his decision and that he wasn’t hearing from the Bulldogs as much as he would’ve liked. Out of the four UGA de-commits, this (in our opinion) would probably be the one kid that the Bulldogs wish the most they could have back. There are concerns about Kitt’s speed, but he is exceptional in every other WR category. It’s also a weak crop of WR prospects out of the state of Georgia this year, and Kitt clearly stands atop the class. Kitt is now pledged to Clemson, and UGA has its sights on Josh Malone of Gallatin, Tenn.
•Stanley Williams, RB, George Walton Academy: Imagine getting a legitimate SEC offer after your freshman year in high school. It seems surreal but it really happened for Williams. He was offered at Dawg Night in July 2011, and committed on the spot. Williams finally revealed that he had de-committed from UGA last spring, but declined to go into details. It had been rumored for months because Williams had been touring other colleges while committed to the Bulldogs. He is now pledged to Kentucky.
•Nick Glass, DB, Peachtree Ridge: It has been a rough year for Glass, who was once considered one of the state’s top five prospects as a sophomore. Glass transferred from St. Pius last season during the middle of the state playoffs. In August, Glass said he de-committed from UGA so he could “focus on my senior season and my academics.” Then last week, it was reported that Glass was no longer a member of his team at Peachtree Ridge. Glass had serious interest from Ole Miss and Miami before his departure.

Glass may never step foot on a college field. Williams has had problems with coaches already so we'll see if he ever makes it himself.

AJC recruiting information is not your best source. I wouldn't put too much weight to anything you get from them. 247 and Rivals is your best bet. There was a lot more to those stories than what was reported.
