Either way the kid appears to have a bright future, if he continues to work hard, Congrats for achieving what he has so far. Cant go wrong with either choice

This was in the email I received from 247.com. A quote from one of his coaches.

"The college that he doesn't choose, he doesn't want to put them in a bind to where they possibly lose a scholarship for this year because they'd have to offer someone on signing day," said Lewis. "I kind of advised him that he may want to announce a week earlier, so he could give that school a backup plan."

Not sure what it means and his coach has apparently been very unbiased throughout the process but his coach is a UK fan. (HOPING) he wants him to tell now so UK has a fallback. I think its the other way around though.

The thing is we do not have a fall back for Elam. We either add another DT or we be happy with the 4 we have coming in. It would open a spot for another position.

Well fallback can be any recruit. Like Markell Boston is a fallback for anyone not a specific recruit.
