Anyone analyzed this matchup? They are huge (300+lbs ea). Doesn't mean anything if they are lesser talent or not conditioned I'm sure. I'm not familiar enough with UM's performance to guess what this matchup yeilds. Someone has claimed we will dominate in the trench but has anyone really analyzed it yet? Just curious. What says the GSB?

It's hard to tell much since they haven't really played anyone worth a damn. They're line will be a lot better than last year though. That I can promise.

Let the record show that the three smallest guys who subbed into LSU's OL were 305 (x2) and 307.

Just sayin'.

With how good our dline did last week at Tenn, I fully expect them to have another good game up front

This^ I definitely think that Chris Wilson has done well so far in his short tenure as D-Line Coach. Let's hope he can continue to trend upwards!

I'm not really concerned about the lines in this game. We've been more than holding our own since Clemson, and I don't expect to see any changes there.

And UT has one of the best lines around. People said they were underachieving slightly, but they have hella continuity and have all world potential.

MU's OL almost certainly won't be as good as UT's.

Mizz DE's two of them, have shared sec d lineman of the week in 5 of 6 weeks. They lead conference in sacks.

Not worried about winning 1st and 2nd down.
As usual,it's winning 3rd down that's gonna determine
the outcome..

Again though, they've feasted on weaklings so no one has a true baring on how good they actually are...yet.

I agree.. we just don't know how they will do against our proven OL. They could be legitimate threats and keep Murray on his toes all game, or they could just have been inflated due to their inferior competition.

We will see.

This could be the breakout game for the defense. They know the pressure is on them to play better and help the wounded offense.

I could see our DL and LBs having a really good day...which would in turn help the secondary.
