Nick can't make the reunion this week honoring the 2003 national championship team, but he's sending a video.

Yes, he was invited.

if he wasn't an active coach, yeah i would. he'd be greeted with nothing but boos more than likely, but saban doesn't hate lsu or anything

If Bama was off I'd fully expect him to go

The boos would be that he's coaching where he's coaching. As he said, that was a special team and it was his first NC

ETA: everyone knows your first is better than all the rest

That's what makes Saban the best coach of this generation imo

For all of the hate he gets from LSU fans, they truly love him deep down in their souls.

Apparently Will Muschamp was able to name all eleven defensive starters from that team off the top of his head during his teleconference today. I'll be interested to see if yall give him a round of applause for his contributions or just do what yall do best and boo him.

i mean, most appreciate what he did for the program but no, most lsu fans don't secretly love him. they know he's a fantastic football coach, but that's about as far as it goes

If he was at a non SEC school no one would have a issue with him whatsoever

You can't expect fans to "love" him when he's the main competition, just not possible for the human condition

Because he'll be the opposing coach on that day. Thought you could figure that out, I would put good money on your students booing him when he's mentioned at the very least.

A rational LSU fan. You're like a great white buffalo round these parts.

and he was an assistant on the staff. it's not like they expected him to stay on the staff forever. he and saban are not even comparable.
