Men of the OT, would you be comfortable with your wife being a surrogate mother?

No not really, unless it was for a family member that was not able to carry on her own.

My cousin, just had twins born a few months ago by surrogate. His wife has high blood pressure and had some other types of complications from their first child's birth. I know he spent a lot of money ($100K+) to have all of the procedures, testing, fertilization and etc. I think the surrogate was paid $60K for the twins.

Sure if it was for family or close friend. For a stranger, no.

I would carry a baby for a close family member or a close friend, but I wouldn't for a stranger. But only if it wasn't my egg that made the baby.

No. My wife was sick every day and generally miserable during her pregnancy. No way I would be OK with someone else asking her to go through that when they can always go adopt.

That would be her choice, seeing as how she going to have to live with it for 9+ months.

Plus 50-100K is hard to turn down.

But I am 24 so maybe that changes things.

Not how it's done. The implant a fertilized egg/ fetus in her uterus. They don't use your wife's eggs, you're thinking of artificial insemination.

No. I'm pretty sure another man's seman product is in her body. Whether it's an fertilized egg or not.

Yes I understand the difference in surrogates and artificial insemination.

not married, but I oppose surrogate motherhood for a long list of reasons.

Hell no I would not want a woman I was involved with to do that.
