Saw this on another board and thought it was interesting. And good god, Bridgewater knew how to handle UF. I'm so impressed by that guy. Notice he's the only one who did BETTER against UF. That's crazy.
And damn UF for giving away UGA and Miami...
2012:
Manziel: 23/30 173 0 0 QBR: 59.7 (90.5 in 2012)
Bray: 22/44 257 2 2 QBR: 47.2 (75.9 in 2012)
Murray: 12/24 150 1 3 QBR: 9.7! (78.2 in 2012)
Mettenburger: 11/25 158 0 1 QBR: 20.3 (47.1 in 2012)
Shaw: 9/20 72 0 0 QBR: 17.8 (68.2 in 2012) *Shaw didn't play whole game
Manuel: 18/33 182 1 3 QBR: 40.5 (72.6 in 2012)
Bridgewater: 20/32 266 2 1 QBR: 88.6 (77.3 in 2012)
2013:
Owens (Toledo): 17/38 155 0 1 QBR: 17.2 (56.9 for 2013)
Morris: 12/25 162 2 1 QBR: 29.4! (86.7 for 2013)
Worley: 10/23 149 1 2 QBR: 32.5 (65.7 for 2013)
Smith: 12/20 90 0 1 QBR: 11.0 (64.7 in 2013)
Allen: 17/41 164 0 1 QBR: 9.8! (54.9 in 2013)
What does this mean? Well, nothing really for this weekend, but I'd be curious to see what Mett's QBR is this weekend.
I'm excited for this matchup! Mett has looked pretty damn good this year.

Hopefully Kadron&co. will step up for Jarvis.

Could be. But if I'm a betting man, take whatever it is now and half it.
But that would probably mean Hill would be running all over us.

Thought he was in a boot for precautionary reasons?

He is. What's not known is if he'll be 100% for UF game.

Did he get gimpy during practice or during last weekend's game?
This I think could be big?

From what I've seen 50% Jarvis (at least against Miss State) was still pretty good.

Dunno either. It didn't look that serious last week at the game, but apparently it is a bit.

he was injured the majority of the MSU game and still had 97 yards

We actually have other options there. We could sit him and still do well through the air. Not saying it's not a drop off, but not as much as you seem to think.

Um, I probably shouldn't have said anything...rumor control and all. What we know for sure 1)left practice in boot and crutches, 2)official position - precautionary measure, 3)Miles said he should be good to go.
My bad P&G, shouldn't have brought it up.

I hope it isn't anything serious, and that he recovers to 100% after saturday ;-/
Regardless, should be a great game IMO. Mett has improved so much since last year.
Regarding the OP, I cannot wait to see if the trend continues.

Florida is annihilating passing games this year, between their pass rush and the secondary.
I know LSU fans are confident, and I still think LSU will get a lot of yards, but I'm pretty sure this will be LSU's worst passing performance of the year, barring future injuries.

Hopefully we won't get too far behind too quickly. We are such a slow starting bunch. Really the opposite of A&M. Start slow, wear you down eventually (hopefully).

They don't have to be stopped every time. Just contained. See UF vs OU 2008.

2012 Bama fans probably did the same type of computing prior to Mett going ballistic on their #1 defense. And Mett wasn't even playing that well going into that game.
I won't say that he'll do the same to UF, but I don't think that UF should underestimate what he is capable of. This is not 2012 in Gainesville nor is he a first year starter or being directed by Stud (OL Coach).
