A group of us are coming for the ole miss / LSU game in 2 weeks and were looking for some suggestions. We've heard about the library, and the grove obviously but is there anything else that's a must do. Coming up Friday and playing golf but after that were pretty much open. All in our mid 20's fwiw.

Where are yall staying?

The Library will be an absolute clusterfrick both fri and sat night.

Boure is one of my favs, as is the new steakhouse, Oxford Grillhouse.

As far as bars - Boure, City Grocery, and Burgundy Room ae great spots but all will be packed big time.

We rented a house, it's supposed to be not far from campus.

There's a 9 hole course right by the house were staying in, but there's the ole miss course we were also considering. Just depends if everyone can get off in time to get 18 in

That's the links, I've never played it. The ole miss course is pretty nice but on a game weekend it is pretty expensive.

When we looked I think it was around 50 for a round.. Is that for game weekends or it goes up from there?

Chicken on a stick after the bars is a must.

I like the balcony at Boure and the Burgundy Room. The Burgundy Room can get crowded pretty easily, but everywhere will that weekend.

Are you playing University Course?

Ajax is incredible and it is must cheaper. That said, Boure is better when you don't consider price.

Go to Big Bad Breakfast if you want to wait in line 2 hours on game weekend, or go get Lusa Bakery on North Lamar.

If you are at the Links, you are not walking distance whatsoever, so have rides in place.

Please, do not support the Library. The cover there will likely be $30-40 this weekend.

I think we'll ultimately end up playing the 9 hole links course. Just go around twice if we have time for 18.

Taylor Grocery.

Also, eat at Boure... I hate when away team fans take up seats at the good restaurants.

If you're up for a bit of a drive, check out the Ravine.
