The key to beating Georgia is attacking their secondary. However, Georgia is not bereft of talent. Their pass rush has potential and athleticism but is not consistent. If Missouri's offensive line can play to their potential Franklin has a chance to have a big day. The big question is can Georgia pressure Franklin?

At LB,they have athleticism on the outside, but they don't have anything elite inside. Georgia's outside linebackers seem to overcompensate for their inside linebackers inefficiencies and leave space on the outside by crashing down to stuff the inside game. Missouri should have success with plays designed to bounce to the outside, especially slants and fade routes.

Their secondary has athleticism at the safety level, but the corners struggle. Their safeties have skill, but they're hindered by having to do too much to overcome the deficiencies at corner.

Georgia's offensive strength is obviously Gurley and Marshall. Those two are as good as they come. Gurley, purely from a physical, talent standpoint, is likely the best running back in the country. Marshall is also very good at receiving the ball out of the backfield on swing or wheel routes. He is very hard to tackle in space.

The real key to their offense, however, is Murray, and the real key to Murray is the first 20 minutes or so of the game. If you allow Murray to get in a rhythm and get comfortable, he will pick you apart. The key is getting to him early and often.

Murray is ranked 15th in the country. He has completed 65% of his passes for 1534 yards with 14 TD's and just 3 INTs.

How Missouri compares to Georgia.

Georgia is 17th in the nation with 315 passing yards a game. Missouri is 32nd with 285 yards a game.

Georgia is 27th in the nation rushing with 214 yards a game. Missouri is 15th in the nation rushing with 258.8 yards a game.

Georgia is 24th in the nation scoring 39.8 points a game. Missouri is 8th in the nation scoring a hefty 46.6 points a game.

Georgia is 95th in the nation allowing 32.2 points a game. Missouri is 41st in the nation allowing 22.4 points a game.

The biggest difference Georgia and Missouri going into this game is Georgia has beaten two ranked teams, South Carolina and LSU. However, Georgia looked pedestrian against Tennessee in an overtime thriller this past weekend.

The similarities between the two teams points to a another shootout between the hedges in Athens this weekend. Missouri is very capable of taking Georgia behind the hedges and beating them and maybe, just maybe, we will see the team we all thought we would see last season.

Thanks, Ozland. I see some similarities between Georgia and Mizzou - we have similar strengths, and weaknesses - particularly in below-average pass defense. I agree - this will be a shoot-out.

Great stuff Oz. I hate to celebrate injuries at all and hate to give a team a built in excuse, but I have to believe they may play a factor. Marshall is out for sure. Haven't heard any update on Gurley but heard someone saying they doubt he plays yet given he didn't even dress with the team this weekend. UGA has lost 3 or 4 WR's this year. Murray is solid, but he has to have someone to get the ball to. Don't know if it makes enough of a difference, but the shoe is on the other foot this year as far as injuries go.

I nominate Oz to do that one too. Believe me, anything i did would not compare to what he does. It's kinda his thing too so i don't want to step on any toes (mine thing is starting shitty threads that make everyone question exactly how i got access in the first place. I would be pissed if Oz started doing that).

Example:

Texas Agriculture has a pretty good squad of footballers this year.

They have a 7ft WR who's name i think is Mike Epps. His height advantage is made worse by the fact that they have glued what appear to be tennis rackets to his hand. To defend him i suggest you recruit someone from your volleyball team (if you have a beach vollyball team i would prefer that).

At QB they have the best professional player in all of college sports. To defend him you will need to frustrate him. I suggest getting his aunt to walk on as your middle linebacker.

They don't have cheerleaders but after a good play by JFF, Coach Sumlin often does a herkie.

Good luck!!

Extremely poor post. Horribly written, breaks AP style in every paragraph, almost every sentence.

Fail #1 is him telling you to watch out for a guy that is currently hobbled with a torn acl.

I'll have my full breakdown at a later date.

Consistently sacked Mettenberger 4 times.

This sentence doesn't even make sense.

Amarlo Herrera is one of the best inside linebackers in the conference, shut Jeremy Hill down pretty well.

Damien Swann (CB) is a junior and led the team in interceptions last year. You must be talking about Langley, the true freshman, who has already lost his starting position to a sophomore with more experience. The only reason Langley started this season as a true freshman is because of summer injuries and a couple of suspensions to start the season.

Gurley is 50/50 on playing, Marshall is out for the year.

He plays a mean last two minutes as well. Ice Cold Warrior.

Did you watch even watch the game? You didn't know Marshall was out... crying in a towel with ice wrapped around his knee, with the camera peering over him every five minutes, not sure how you could have missed that.

Define pedestrian. How many yards did Murray throw for? How many did he run for? Also realize half the game was played with 3rd stringers at receiver and running back.

So are you saying that Mizzou has a better chance at taking down the Dawgs than Oz suggested?

I hear Mizzou has produced a great deal of newsprint over the years. Maybe they can role some of it up and use it to beat back the fighting UGA's.
