He was at the game yesterday and committed to Nussmeier and Cristobal. He did not get a chance to talk to Saban which is usually protocol when a commitment is accepted. Cotton has said he believes he is a commitment. BOL is trying to get staff confirmation.

FWIW, Cotton named Auburn his leader after a visit there last month.

Don't believe this is true, nor do I remember ever hearing this from any Auburn people. Care to link that please?

I was about to say the same thing. I'm pretty in touch with recruiting between paysites and a few relationships and not a single time have I even heard the name Cotton. Add on to the fact that 247 does not mention him even visiting Auburn on their timeline, I believe the OP of that claim was wrong about that

I've never once seen that mentioned. He's at just about every Alabama game, considering he's from Tuscaloosa

Saban needs to just wait a Cotton-pickin' moment after games and talk.

I'm very sorry for that. I'll go punch myself now.

Yeah, definitely never named Auburn his leader.

Cotton has said since the summer that he'll commit to Alabama as soon as he is allowed to do so.
