He suffered a fractured ankle, and will not return for the rest of the season.

Joeckel was rolled up on while blocking — an all-too-familiar mishap for offensive linemen.

This was Luke's first game at left tackle. The Jaguars traded their starting left tackle earlier in the week to Baltimore for draft picks, creating an opportunity for Joeckel to slide into his natural position. Joeckel had started the previous games at right tackle.

At least he has plenty of time to recover. Its still fairly early in the season so hopefully he will be ready for next year. The jags are horrible so its not like this really hurts them.

Hopefully for his sake when he returns he will be blocking for Teddy Bridgewater

It is my hope that the Jaguars will outwardly express interest in Johnny Manziel, which inspires him to stay for one more year in Aggieland.
