Barely breaking even historically, the South Carolina program has long sought relevance. A move to the SEC with historically more successful Arkansas has done them little good (being 13-8 against the Hogs). Even coaches with past success have so far been unable to get it done. To date we have seen no BCS games, one conference title (ACC 1969) and not much else. Two recently successful seasons have brought major improvement, but the cock glass ceiling may be a bit too thick.

At least USC has one of the SECs most legendary coaches on their sideline while Arkansas has a coach that has never won an SEC game. Think bout that.
