I know most of you want Dak as our starter, but I'm telling you once again that unless he can pass, we will not win enough games to go bowling. In fact, we very well may not win another SEC game.

He's simply not ready at this point and we have a QB that is.

45% completion tonight with an INT.

Well I can say the same thing. We've got to be able to run the ball in order to win in the SEC and we've proven we can't move the chains running the ball with TR as QB. At least not near enough. Not to mention, he stands back in the pocket and takes the 10 yard loss (sack) every possession.

To be fair, how many times did he throw it and MoJo or Joe or Fred somebody drop it?

You sir are an idiot. Im just going to assume you were at the game and didn't get to really watch dak throw the ball. I wasn't able to attend the game, as I'm out of town working. I watched it on TV and dak was throwing into some tight windows all night. Accuracy isn't his problem, touch on the long ball is. That can be fixed with practice and game experience. This offense is a totally different animal with dak in there and the defense reactions to him shows this. Tyler has been nothing but great since coming to MSU, but his time is done here at state. I wish him the best in life after football but Mullens offense isn't the same with him in there. Also look at the differences in Meyers offense when he had Chris Leake and then Driskell and compare it to Tebow and now Miller. Its not near as effective with a qb that is not as mobile. I'm saying compare Meyers offense because it's Mullens offense as well and a bigger sample size to compare to then the relf/Lee combo and now russell/Prescott.

Eta: why in the frick do we still play mojo and rojo when they couldn't catch a cold if they tried. I mean they both had 2-4 drops each last night.

Ok... so here we go again... for whatever reason, they are not catching it for dak but are for russell. Lol...

Watch the replay man. Especially the 2nd drive of the game and the first one after halftime. Multiple drops that killed drives in LSU territory, which then led to field goals.

And how many times did Russell hold the ball to long and take a sack and lose yardage? How many did dak take? Also on two occasions he read the blitz checked to a hot route, hikes the ball and gets rid of it only for the reciever to never look back for the ball. Take that 9 for 20 shite elsewhere. Multiple drops and a few over thrown balls, other then that he was pretty spot on. Watch the tape before you come spewing some dumb shite.

LOL!!!! Unbelievable.

Again, LOL!!! So your whole argument is that the wrs just won't run the right routes and drop the ball when Dak is in, BUT they do ok with Russell in.

GREAT... even if I agree with you, and I don't, that's another reason to have kept your hot hand in.

The play calling last night reminded me of Mullens play calling at Florida. Innovative with a bunch of movement with option and read option mixed in. The only thing he lacked last night was running the counter with jrob, like with Dixon, and he could have mixed in some screen passes to Perkins to get him in space and catch their dline with their pants down because they were playing the run or Pinning their earS back on the pass.

I ask again, were you watching the same game I was? Russell is not the answer, no matter how bad you want him to be. You play Prescott and start building on your future. This season is a lost cause and we will be lucky to go bowling. Leave Prescott in and go from there. let him learn what it's like to play big time games in big time atmospheres. I'm not hating on Russell one bit I know the kid personally and have had a few classes with him when he was a freshman. He's a good kid but his time at state should be done barring an injury to dak.

YES! I was. I watch a QB put 14 points up to take the lead. He did it with his arm and legs. He ran the ball 2 times. Once for 15 yards, and once for 5. He was 7 out of 11 over all with 2 TDs.

No, You play the guy who helped pull in the WRs because of his arm. The guy that gives you your best chance to win and go bowling!

We will NOT go bowling with Russell in the game only. It will not happen. He is not accurate and his production on the ground will fall off as the game goes on. Just as it has.

Good lord.... Are you that caught up in "start the back up for whatever reason I can come up with" mode?

Dak is still no better than 47% completion against ranked teams and SEC defenses. 47%.

Dak had most of the game to move the ball and score, he did it once! After that he failed in the red zone and as the game went one, became less effective in the run.

No amount of paint is going to make that look good enough to sale.

I am sure I'll get ignored or told to STFU but Darkhorse, stats be damned! If I am going to war with LSU or anyone, I want Dak back there as he gives us the best chance to win. Dak has the intangibles that Tyler will never have. Tyler holds on to the ball too long and when he does throw, it's like watching the goodyear blimp float. Dak's passes are sharp and his release is way better than Tyler. You have to start building chemistry for the future and unless we pull off some magical coup and get a high calibur qb, Dak is the future. I still think there are situations where Tyler should be used but only as a change of pace or to rest Dak.
