Before this week, I thought Jones would be just another in a lines of failed coaches at UT. However, I think this will be the guy to lead the Vols to relevancy.

We were mighty beat up, but the Vols showed a lot of fight.

You serious?

They still suck, and will for years to come. Maybe you missed what Oregon did to them.

He is the guy for UT, I no longer have any doubt. He's cheesy as hell but obviously the players buy into it. He's recruiting like a champ. And I fricking loved the play calls today. He is the anti-Dooley

Butch got lucky today. Had Georgia been full strength they'd be calling for his head.

Saban wouldn't have kept UT within 30 in that game

Right. That's why we all thought UGA would win by 3 touchdowns.

Dooley was also the guy when he almost beat LSU.

We lost that game directly because of Dooley's coaching blunder. Not sure how that applies here.

And if you had blown them out, would you post a thread about how horrible he is as a coach?

Jones proved to me today that he isnt reasy. who lets 40 seconds run off when you have a 2 TO. plus, to get lucky and have 6-7 key players out/get hurt during the game, and still not win...i mean its only down hill from here. that was your chance to turn it around.

There was a very different vibe after the game. LSU game was a herp derp fest for both teams.

Isn't ready my arse. He coached circles around that praying goofball Richt and you know it. Compare the rosters between the two. Idgaf about injuries, the biggest of them all got hurt last week and y'all knew he was out coming into the game. Georgia is better and deeper than UT at every position right now.

Yes

Instead of being blown out, it was close, so your players were crying.

It was different.

you may not, but when ou see 3 of your teammates go out...it affects you...we were in your house...losing players left and rightt, got a punt blocked and still beat you....

Whatever. Lane,Couch,Saulsberry, R.Jones and Maggitt were out today. Each one of them are either starters or splitting first-team reps for UT. Like I said, injuries happen. Georgia has much superior talent and depth compared to us.
If you can't see that Jones out coached Richt by a large margin, then idk what to tell you.

If Butch nearly/should've beat Richt with Doofus' slow players, I can't wait to see what he does when he gets his elite recruits on campus.
