If figured I would say hi so I don't surprise or shock any Mizzou posters. Happy to be here. Looking forward to playing every year. Me and my Mizzou buddy was talking today about going to COMO next year for the game. Plus I'm coughing up $225 for an out if state tag next month for rifle season. Looking forward to talking sports or what ever comes up with Mizzou posters.

For some reason, attendance is always low on Saturdays during deer season.

RC.....Its actually the Hogs bye week. I got lucky. I'm sure my buddy will have the Mizzou game on, in which I will root for them. We have the same problem come deer season. It is what it is.

True story - one of my cousins got married during deer season, and my dad flat out refused to go to the wedding. He went hunting, and said they should have known better than to plan a wedding during deer season - there's 50 other weeks he could have picked.
ETA - My mom was PISSED. That one was ugly.

True story - when I was seven years old my father duct taped me (not my arms, just my trunk (ironically)) to a tree-stand (one week after he found me asleep in another another tree stand). We are talking pre-dusk and not cut down till well into nightfall. At the time there was no twitter but #thingswedon'ttellyourmother.
My brother still hunts religiously (his main focus is turkeys) and he is always trying to get me to go. I always respond: "I ain't got no problems with turkeys."

When my brother tells me he is going hunting i always respond: "Better hurry up and kill them before they starve." IIRC i probably stole it from South Park.
Before i get run off here, for the record i am not morally oppossed to hunting at all. You want to spend all saturday tracking down and killing a deer, god bless you - one less person for me to fight through at home depot.
I grew up hunting all the time, it just really wasn't my thing (i would have rather slept in and watched TV).

The deer population has exploded in St. Louis County. It's a suburban area so no hunting to speak of. Can walk to within freaking 20 feet of them before they talk off. Like the frickers know ya can't do anything to them. Had like 6-8 of them that would come up on son's practice field all summer. Kind of hard to hit fly balls when the boys had to run in the middle of them to catch the ball.

Not my thing either Garfield. Don't hunt or fish because I can't sit still that long.
