Looks like it's gonna be mighty hard to watch the conference opener in STL. What in the hell is going on, is this a STL issue or SEC issue. Seems ridiculous this game isn't going to be televised in the biggest metro area in the state. Could this just be another cards thing, once again showing what STL fans really care about?

Ya all the people on powermizzou are freaking out. Apparently it will be blacked out on both Uverse and direct tv. You can get it on charter though

Can you tell me where the game will be on in San Diego?

Also, Djibouti on Time-Warner.

I really don't understand what's going on. The local CBS channel in KC has picked up the game. Why can't or won't St. Louis stations do the same? Were ratings not good there for last weeks game? It's really too bad for the fans living there. I would be pissed.

Last weeks game was listed as available on Directv on some Bay Area sports channel, but it was blacked out.

Luckily, I was at work and we have the gameplan package so I was able to watch. This week will probably be more of the same.

Sounds as though CSS gets a portion of SEC games due to contractual obligations. It's up to the independents to pick them up.

Here in LA/SD we have independents who carry SEC games every week. Under the guise of ESPN/SEC Network. But those are usually only one day game a week. They don't carry night games.

The stations carrying the game are Comcast Bay Area and Comcast California. Comcast and DirecTV have a long, ugly history, and virtually every college football game on these channels has been blacked out out of market the last few seasons.

Dish should have the game on Cox Sports Television, channel 412. I almost got Dish this summer just to add this channel in case A&M gets stuck on "CSS." We should have the SEC Network to keep this from happening after this season, so I stuck with DTV.

That explains last weekend.

I set my DVR to record and it was blacked out.

Yep, SEC Net had better fix this shite, because it smells like the Big 12 to me.

Matter tweeted about this earlier today. CSS has this game, and for some reason, they sold an exclusive contract for it to Charter in St. Louis. They were working on changing it, but that's BS.
