It doesn't nullify the whole tough schedule argument, but having an extra week to prepare for both teams makes your argument a little weaker.

They always get a bye week before Bama, every season even if we don't get one.

I just had some delicious Chick Fil A. Does it get any better than their chicken sandwiches?

And what about LSU scheduling a cupcake like State to rest up before the Florida game?

Before LSU? That's a weird way of putting it. Really, it should be considered AFTER Tennessee. So we can catch our breath after the fiercest rivalry in sports

All teams should play only every other week. That way we have a season twice as long.

OK not really.

Dude. Your schedule looks like this:
10/26 - Furman
11/2 - BYE
11/9 - Bama
11/16 - BYE
11/23 - A&M

You've got 2 legit games in 5 weeks. Try to be at least a little objective.

Bama gets bye weeks before big games every year, so what's your point?

Or 2 of those 3 games are against top 10 teams. Try to be a little objective
