After rewatching the game, that's my opinion. He's definitely not a dual threat guy and he's far from the most athletic, but he will make a killing at the next level. He has great size and an elite arm with the ability to drop the ball on right where he wants it.

If I was an exec for Jacksonville or any other shite-tastic team in need of a QB, I'd be licking my chops over the thought of drafting him. Everyone has been talking about Bridgewater but, from what I've seen, I think Mett is the QB in this class who will have the best NFL career.

Mett is an NFL QB with an NFL arm who made some absolutely incredible throws. That said, I don't think he's the best in the country. Honestly, I'd take Boyd over Mett, because Boyd can make just about every throw Mett can, but he can run too.

Also, Mett has 2 receivers that will be playing on the next level to throw to. That's by no means a negative towards mett either, it's simply to say that there might be some plays where they bail him out some.

But again, I agree with your overall point that he is impressive and certainly made me change my opinion of him.

While he's been impressive vs 3 bad defenses and then 2 very medicore defenses,I'd wait a little
bit until after the Bama game before I'd make that statement. No way in hell he's better than
JFF.Although he might make a better NFL prospect.

Bridgewater is severely overrated. He's a top 15 QB playing awful competition. Yes he carved up Florida, but Utah blew out Alabama in the same manner, neither team wanted to be there.

I can't believe I am typing this...but AM may surprise at the next level...some of the guys you don't expect to succeed at that level light it up...and many who are hyped up are a bust...just saying...

Thanks to guys like RG3...Russel Wilson, and Colin Kaepernick, and Vick...the dawn of the mobile QB is upon us. I'd expect Manziel and Boyd to go before Mett simply because its new and its working in the NFL.

The days of the static QB might be coming to an end or at least becoming less viable. Thats why I truly believe Murray just might make it in the NFL.

Just my opinion.

I think that the mobile qb is becoming a commodity not only cause it is hard to defend...but because GREAT pass protect olines ar hard to come by...and it is easier to just have a qb that can get himself out of trouble...AM actually has decent scrambling ability...he is no JFF but...he got moves...Mett has like zero moves...

I would listen to the fanbase and put hometown boy timmy tebow in teal and black...but that is for a different thread...

I just don't understand why they won't give him a shot. If they had average QB play then fine, I can see not wanting a lateral move. But their QB play has been HORRENDOUS, and tebow has shown he can be above average.

They're already the worst team in the NFL, what could it hurt to put some butts in the seats? I'm just glad as a fan of the best football team in FL I don't have to worry about such trivial matters.

Is it just me or did it seem like a good chunk of Mett's balls were thrown to receivers who were wide arse open?

And Sammy Watkins is nobody? Boyd and Mett are in the same boat when it comes to having good recievers making them look better than they are sometimes. not taking anything away from either one there both great QB's. Just pointing out that Boyd has good WR's as well.

Possibly, but I do remember some throws that Mett threw into double and even triple coverage that were right on the money.

That one catch that I believe Landry made in triple coverage was insane...helmet went flying and everything.
