Will go down in lore as one of the best pair of pass rushers at UGA.

JJ needs to step it up. Just got his first sack.

Floyd has been really impressive rushing the passer

One thing I have noticed is that ray drew was commanding a double team on a lot of the QB pressures. I think he is due some credit as well. He is playing at a high level right now.

Drew is coming around at DE. Got his first sack, and like you said, is doing his job by taking on multiple blockers

Sacks are not everything. JJ got a lot of pressure and changed the pocket and passing lanes. Met did a great job stepping up and throwing in tight spaces. We get a tad more pressure up the middle and those guys will be putting up big numbers.

I hope somebody got a good pic of that pass rush on LSU's last play. It's no wonder Mett missed that pass with a full blown bull rush in his face and Jenkins flying through the air.

On the last play, Jenkins totally took the passing lane away with that jump and he could not throw that slant that was open. Met checked to that deep curl and by that time, the pocket collapsed and 84 was about to eat him for lunch and Mett did not have his body right for that throw.

That tipped pass on LSU's final drive was HUGE. I think the timer on the crock pot just went off.

Absolutely agree that Floyd is a true physical specimen! He reminds me of the Deon Jordan that was drafted out of Oregon this year. He seems to have a similar frame and the coaches have been raving about him also. Although, the best player on the field Saturday was by far JHC. I and others have stated this many times. I also think that Herrera is the backbone of our D. He gets little recognition, but he makes all of the on pre-snap adjustments. The dude is always pointing and yelling at the freshman to put them in the right spot. Not to mention, he is an absolute beast when stopping the run, and he had a very important pass deflection on Saturday which stuck out in my mind.

Jenkins' jumping over his blocker on the last play for LSU forced a bad throw. Albeit, Floyd was there, too.

Was JHC the one who dove over the center and nearly clobbered Hill on LSU's last TD? If he'd connected and laid Hill out for a loss, I'm pretty sure Sanford would've shown up in the Richter scale like Death Valley did, years ago.

This

JJ is doing the heavy lifting, and his sacks will come but, as of now, opposing teams are preparing for JJ and weren't expecting Floyd. Only a short while til they realized they are fricked either way and start trying to account for both. Then the sack and TFL numbers will go up for JJ and maybe level off a bit for Floyd.

They are both beasts though. Similar builds, long arms, room to support more weight on their frames.

Who is the other backer that was supposed to be a beast? Broke his thumb the same day as Floyd I think.Has he played a down so far?

I think we have enough depth at LB that we can rotate a lot of guys. They may be saving Johnny O'Neal, Tim Kimbrough and the rest of the true Fr. for the time being.

I have to say that out NT's are doing a great job. Better than Jenkins and Kwame from last year.
