Why do some people say LSU shouldn't have had Georgia on their schedule?

And that Alabama should have played them? What happened?

UGA hasn't played Bama in the regular season since 08.

We played in Athens last time we played Georgia too.
Still no excuse for the shitty defense though.

It was Bama's turn to play GA this year, if we followed the rotation. However, due to the two teams we added to the SEC last year, somehow, GA suddenly dropped from their schedule and showed up on LSU's schedule. Even though the last time LSU played GA it was in Athens, we once again got a game against GA in Athens. Oh, and I believe instead of GA Bama got Missouri or was it Kentucky.
Weird how things work out...

It isn't that difficult to beat Georgia in Athens.

Was that 09 or 10?

Georgia has the longest SEC home winning streak.

Before yesterday, when did LSU last play UGA in regular season?
We played UGA and UK last in 2008. UGA in Athens and UK at BDS. So actually we were due either one with a rotating schedule. Mizzou was stuck on our schedule (away) to give them the #1 team at home. Mizzou was supposed to have been really good last year....they weren't.
So stop

2009 @ UGA

Bama and UGA have drawn unusually easy cross division foes for several years now
Bama has a perm partner, UT, that is down while LSU has a perm rival, UF, that is pretty damn strong
Bama HAS had an easier schedule than LSU the last few years, just like UGA has vs SC
For Bama to get KY, the WORST team in the SEC East (maybe even the SEC) while LSU gets the best team in the division, seems a little unfair
THAT is why you are hearing the bitching; it's not entirely unfounded. It is probably time for Bama to get UGA, UF or SC while LSU get KY or Vandy in the same year

We played both UF and USCe in2010.
Time for UGA to rotate on and I welcome it. But like it or not, by rotation, we were due UK.

I think that the "schedule" talk is bullshite, I was just answering the question
YES, the gripes from SC the last 2 years and LSU have SOME merit, but that shite will even itself out eventually
the LSU vs Bama game will determine the West this year, like it does most years...
